Liaison with Cambridge Wireless, all sponsors and the Science Museum PR contacts including the five leading mobile operators in the UK Orange, Vodafone, 3, T-Mobile and 02
Messaging workshop to ensure the co-ordination of messages across sponsors
Staged press releases and media outreach using the 'theme' of highlighting the benefits of mobile technology oboth socially and economically to peoples lives
Journalists in all sectors contacted and offered interviews with the sponsors or articles tailored for their publications
Top tier journalists were invited to the event
Social media played an integral part in the promotion of the event
Results
14 key journalists attended the event including The Guardian, CNET, What Mobile, New Electronics and Land Mobile
Pre-event results included coverage in New Electronics (front page), Computing World, The Sun and The Daily Express
The event was 'tweeted' and blogged in real-time by attendees and after the event coverage included: IT Pro, The Inquirer, Land Mobile, New Electronics, E&T and Telecoms.com
