EML supports 'Cellular 25' mobile industry birthday celebrations
Cellular 25, the industry event to celebrate 25 years of the mobile network in the UK, went down a storm on 21st January, with attendees commenting that the event was a 'Who's Who' of the mobile sector.
The event, organised by Cambridge Wireless and held at the Science Museum, was supported and promoted by EML.
Cambridge Wireless' Director and Cellular 25 Steering Committee member Geoff Varrall commented, 'We very much enjoyed working with EML on the Cellular 25 project. They were thoroughly professional, well organised, cost effective and creative – this was a complex event involving a steering committee representing the five UK network operators, ten speaker sponsors, seven event supporters (trade associations) and more than a dozen table sponsors. Four hundred people attended the conference, three hundred and seventy guests sat down to dinner and a good time was had by all.
The event received extensive coverage in the telecoms, national, computing and electronics press, with additional positive comment from the industry analyst community.
On behalf of the Cellular 25 steering committee I would like to express our thanks to EML for all their hard work and good humour and for more than fulfilling our expectations on every aspect of the PR campaign."
