Verimatrix selects EML
EML has been retained by Verimatrix, the California based leading supplier of content security for the IPTV industry, to build the company’s profile in Europe. The campaign will target IPTV service operators and content providers.
The expansion of the IPTV market has increased the possibilities for those who pirate and sell-on the latest films and TV series. Verimatrix addresses this problem with software that includes encryption, DRM, clone detection and session-based digital watermarking to aid the prevention of content theft. This software also increases the opportunities to catch and prosecute these digital pirates through its forensic tracking which goes right to individual set-top boxes.
